Auckland Arts Festival 2017 is fast approaching, with the annual event gearing up to celebrate the very best in arts and culture.

A non-stop showcase of New Zealand and International arts, the globally-recognised event takes place between 8 – 26 March 2017.

So what can you expect? We’ve rounded up just five of our favourite things about the festival to get you started…

1. Location, Location, Location

The vibrancy of New Zealand’s largest city ensures the Auckland Arts Festival is unrivalled for cultural diversity and an intoxicating atmosphere. The inspiring setting provides a perfect backdrop to the buzz of creativity, where artists communicate with their audiences and in turn, audiences respond to their work.

2. The festival garden

Whether you stop by before or after an event, or just for a visit, the Festival Garden is always a popular part of the programme. Here, you’ll find delicious food offerings, fun play areas for kids and free performances to entice all ages.
