Uniting for the cause; Make a donation for World Cancer Day 2025 with your ticket purchase

Almost every single person in Aotearoa will be impacted by cancer at one point in their lives, whether it be personally or through friends, family or even colleagues.

For those who are unfamiliar, World Cancer Day is a global initiative held every February 4th to raise awareness of the global impact of cancer, improve education and work together to ensure as many preventable cancer deaths are saved, and access to treatment is equitable for all.

This year we are supporting the cause by helping to raise funds for Canteen Aotearoa. Canteen is the only national charity in Aotearoa New Zealand dedicated to providing tailored support for rangatahi (young people) impacted by cancer.

Around 4,200 rangatahi are impacted by cancer every year in Aotearoa, but they don’t have to face cancer alone. Canteen is a safe space where rangatahi aged 12-24 impacted by their own diagnosis or cancer in their whānau can connect, share the tough stuff, and get a break from cancer.

Throughout the month of February, you can support the cause with us. Every purchase you make on Ticketmaster New Zealand during February will allow you the option to donate to Canteen Aotearoa in support of World Cancer Day at checkout.

With the hope of raising funds for Canteen Aotearoa, we will be offering an option to donate $2.99 alongside any ticket purchase. All proceeds will be going directly to Canteen Aotearoa, and any donation, small or large, will help to raise awareness and funds for an amazing cause.
