Uniting for the cause; Make a donation for World Cancer Day 2024 with your ticket purchase
Almost every single person in Aotearoa will be impacted by cancer at one point in their lives, whether it be personally or through friends, family or even colleagues.
Did you know, around 4,200 rangatahi are impacted by cancer every year in Aotearoa?
For those who are unfamiliar, World Cancer Day is a global initiative held every February 4th to raise awareness about the impacts of cancer, improve education to reduce preventable cancer deaths, and ensure equitable access to treatment for all.
This year we are supporting the cause by helping to raise funds for Canteen Aotearoa. Canteen is a safe space for rangatahi aged 13-24 impacted by their own diagnosis or cancer in their whānau to connect, share the tough stuff, and get a break from cancer.
Throughout the months of February & March, you can support the cause with us. Every purchase you make on Ticketmaster New Zealand during February & March will allow you the option to donate to Canteen in support of World Cancer Day at checkout.
With the hope of raising funds for Canteen, we will be offering an option to donate $2.99 alongside any ticket purchase. All proceeds will be going directly to Canteen Aotearoa, and any donation, small or large, will help to raise awareness and funds for an amazing cause.
