We're Not Okay (We Promise)!
After taking his sophomore album Bloom around the world, Troye Sivan is finally returning to our shores for huge show this September.
Since releasing the album last September, Sivan has taken on extensive tours through North America, Europea and Asia, as well as making stops at Lollapalooza in Argentina, Chile, and Brazil. Earlier this month, Sivan also teamed up with Charli XCX, co-headlining and co-hosting the inaugural Go West Fest in Los Angeles for Pride week.
He’s been pretty busy, so we can’t be too sad about the fact that these dates will be his first national headline concert since 2016. Since then, Sivan has become an international superstar – his single ‘My My My’ landing in the US Top 100 and scored him performances at the Billboard Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards and in front of the enormous TV audiences of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Saturday Night Live and Ellen. The single is so well loved it was even performed by Taylor Swift during her Rose Bowl show last year.
Sivan has announced that $1 from every ticket sold will be donated in support of Beyond Blue and Minus18 in Australia and RainbowYOUTH in New Zealand.
“I’m so excited to be working with BeyondBlue and Minus18 on The Bloom Tour in Australia and with RainbowYOUTH in New Zealand – it was organisations like these who were there for me when I needed them most, and I’m honoured to be able to help support them now by wiggling around on stage,” says Sivan.
Troye Sivan will bring his Bloom tour to New Zealand in September 2019. Tickets are onsale via Ticketmaster.co.nz.
