Ticketmaster partners with Dunedin Venues
Ticketmaster is very excited to have been announced as the ticketing partner for Dunedin Venues, which operates Forsyth Barr Stadium and the Dunedin Centre.
Following an exhaustive process, Ticketmaster was selected as the company that could best meet the ticketing needs of Dunedin Venues. Having operated in New Zealand for more than 10 years, Ticketmaster is an industry leader when it comes to ticketing, access control, event marketing and customer service.
Expanding the current operation is a focus for Ticketmaster in New Zealand and our appointment as the exclusive ticketing partner for Dunedin Venues helps to achieve that goal. Geographically, the expansion is massive and further highlights Ticketmaster’s ability to provide premier services to major venues, events and promoters throughout New Zealand as well as Australia.
Forsyth Barr Stadium is a world-class venue that regularly hosts sporting events and the stadium is venturing more and more into the entertainment sector. Recently more than 35,000 fans packed into Forsyth Barr to see the legendary band, Fleetwood Mac. In April, Black Sabbath’s The End tour will hit Forsyth Barr Stadium with the great Ozzy Osborne certain to entertain!
Bringing world class entertainment events to the stadium is a key focus for Dunedin Venues. Ticketmaster is in the unique position of enjoying a solid relationship with the world’s leading concert promoter, Live Nation (Ticketmaster is a Live Nation Entertainment company).
On top of that, through years of experience in Australasia, Ticketmaster has excellent working relationships with key promoters and event operators throughout the region.
