Former One Direction star Niall Horan will be bringing his first solo Arena tour to Auckland next year.

Niall has confirmed a Spark Arena show as part of his Flicker World Tour 2018, taking place on Friday 1 June 2018. So it’s not even a school night and now we’re even more excited.

The British heartthrob will perform solo hits like Slow Hands and This Town for Kiwi fans, as well as even newer tracks off his forthcoming debut album.

Not showing any signs of slowing down since 1D’s split, Niall’s Slow Hands track has already gone Platinum in New Zealand, as well as topping the charts in 44 countries.

Finding his flow as a solo singer/songwriter, Niall has spent the past year writing and recording his debut album, which will land in time for Christmas.

He’s said to have taken inspiration from artists like Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles and Crosby, Stills and Nash, The Lumineers and James Bay.

“I’ve been listening to a lot of early ’80s stuff lately and been inspired by that heavy bass and the funky guitar sound. It’s another flavor to my album that I’m excited to share,” Niall said previously regarding Slow Hands.

The Flicker World Tour 2018 hits New Zealand, June 1 at Spark Arena, Auckland.

He’ll also be joined by a special guest in the shape of US singer/songwriter and total buzz-artist, Maren Morris, who’s currently ruling playlists with debut album Hero and breakout single My Church.
