Marlon Williams is teaming up with the APO
Thought seeing Marlon Williams live couldn’t be any more breathtaking? Just wait until you see him perform with the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra next February.
The last 12 months have been an absolute whirlwind for Marlon Williams. After releasing his gorgeous second album Make Way For Love back in February, he’s spent most of the year touring the globe, had an acting part in Hollywood blockbuster A Star Is Born, scored four nominations at this year’s Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards, and won the 2018 APRA Silver Scroll for his song Nobody Gets What They Want Anymore. And that’s just scratching the surface.
We are extremely excited to have his extraordinarily distinctive voice gracing our stages again, and for his long-awaited homecoming he’ll be joining forces with the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra.
The APO has collaborated with some of New Zealand’s most inventive artists and this partnership with Marlon and his moving catalogue of songs will be something to be treasured.
Keep your eyes peeled as some very special guests will soon be revealed to perform on the night.
