Ahead of her first-ever trip to New Zealand, we sat down with Swedish singer-songwriter Leon to chat about making her debut album and taking it to stages around the world.
The slacker king is ready to bring his dream machine our way. That’s right, Mac DeMarco has announced his return to New Zealand, with a special one-off show in January 2020.
Hitting Auckland’s gorgeous Town Hall, this will be DeMarco’s first headline show in New Zealand in four years.
He’ll be bringing with him his fourth album Here Comes The Cowboy – a record that has been described as a masterpiece, beautiful, and cathartic back when it was released in May.
Making things even more exciting, DeMarco has invited Fazerdaze to join him on this magical mystery journey. Fazerdaze, the incarnation of Amelia Murray, released her debut album Morningside in 2017 to critical acclaim. Since it’s release, she has been swept around the globe, playing headline shows across Asia, Europe, and North America and taking over stages at Coachella and Latitude Festival.
Now back home and working on new music (we can’t wait), this will be Fazerdaze’s first show on home soil in over a year.
Mac DeMarco will bring his world tour to New Zealand in January 2020. Tickets are on sale via Ticketmaster.co.nz.
