Slowing down is clearly not in Jimmy Barnes' DNA – and his mammoth 2019 Australian and New Zealand tour is proof that he has no plan to anytime soon.
In his biggest headlining tour this century (wow!), Jimmy Barnes is set to bring a ton of hits to stages right around Australia when his three-month-long Australian and New Zealand tour kicks off.
As well as all the classics you’ve loved across the last four decades, Barnes will also perform songs from his new album, My Criminal Record.
Performing in capital cities and regional centres throughout September, October, and November, the tour will see Barnes head across the ditch for two very special shows.
Following sold-out theatre tours in support of his best-selling memoirs, ‘Working Class Boy’ and ‘Working Class Man’, this tour sees Barnesy return to what he does best – electrifying audiences of all ages with his classic Aussie rock hits. And with a setlist packed full of Cold Chisel anthems, solo classics, and the latest tracks from his new album, you can bet singalongs will be the flavour of the night.
Speaking on the upcoming tour, Barnes says, “It’s been ten years since I made an original rock record and I can’t wait to get out there and play these songs, along with all the old favourites, to a live audience. It’s going to be great.”
Jimmy Barnes will return to New Zealand this September. Tickets go on sale on Friday 31 May at 12pm (local time) via Ticketmaster.co.nz.
