Listen up jet setters! If you are lucky enough to escape the winter chill and chase the sun to England, keep in mind London Kids Week, a fantastic initiative that offers free tickets for children for a range of great theatre events.
The annual event will run from August 1-31 this year and more than 35 shows are offering free tickets for kids 16 and under when accompanied by a paying adult. On top of that already great deal, a further two children can attend participating shows for half the regular price.
London Kids Week is run by Society of London Theatre (SOLT) and is proudly supported by Ticketmaster. Currently in its 18th year, Kids Week offers a fantastic program of events for children throughout the entire month of August.
Shows offering free and discounted tickets throughout the 2015 program include The Lion King, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Les Miserables, Mamma Mia, Matilda the Musical, Stomp, Thriller Live, Bend It Like Beckham, Billy Elliott and Wicked.
As well as amazing performances, kids are invited to take part in activities and workshops including post-show Q&As, dance classes and sing-a-longs. Many restaurants are also offering special Kids Eat Free meal deals and there are great savings to be made on travel and accommodation.
Ticketmaster is very happy to partner with London Kids Week to introduce young people to world-class performance and foster their appreciation of live entertainment events. All Kids Week transactions are free of booking and postage charges, which helps to keep the costs down for the whole family.
