Crowded House announce huge 2021 New Zealand Tour

We said “You better be home soon,” and they listened

They’ve released their first new music in over a decade, now absolute legends Crowded House have locked in a huge run of New Zealand shows for March 2021.

Their new single, ‘Whatever You Want’ is taken from the band’s forthcoming album titled Dreamers Are Waiting. The tour and new music features Crowded House’s new lineup including founding members Neil Finn and Nick Seymour, producer and keyboardist Mitchell Froom, alongside Neil’s two sons guitarist and singer Liam Finn and drummer Elroy Finn.

Crowded House 2021 New Zealand Tour Dates

  • Monday 8 March – Trafalgar Centre, Nelson
  • Thursday 11 March – Town Hall, Dunedin
  • Saturday 13 March – Gibbston Valley, Queenstown
  • Monday 15 March – TSB Bank Arena, Wellington

“We are thrilled and highly energised to be touring NZ in March. The shows will be a joyous occasion for us, with all the songs from our history that still resonate, some new music to unveil and our home crowds to share all that with…feeling truly blessed,” Neil Finn says.

Crowded House last toured New Zealand in 2011 to celebrate the release of their sixth album Intriguer, which went to number one in Australia, number three in New Zealand and number 12 in the UK. With a stack of incredible hit singles from across their almost four-decade-long career including ‘Don’t Dream It’s Over’, ‘Better Be Home Soon’, ‘Fall At Your Feet’, ‘Weather With You’, and ‘Something So Strong’, there are going to be plenty of singalong moments when Crowded House comes to town.

Want to get a big(ger) group together?

We know that live music is more enjoyable when you get to share the experience with your friends – that’s where our Groups department can help.

Our dedicated group bookings team can provide you with personal and professional service, making your group booking simple. To purchase more than 10 tickets, please contact [email protected].

How do I book accessible tickets?

Please call Ticketmaster’s Accessible Seating Line if you have Wheelchair booking requirements on 09 970 9711 – bookings will not be made via email, only by phone.

Make all those important decisions in advance

Now that you have all the important information, it is time to get together with your friends and decide which tickets you would like to buy.

If you make all the important decisions before onsale – budget, ticket type, the area you’d like to sit or stand, etc – it will help make the ticket buying process as smooth as possible.

Make sure your My Ticketmaster account is up to date

Before tickets go on sale, log into your My Ticketmaster account. Remember to triple check your passwords, delivery address, and billing information are all filled in correctly in advance, that way you’re not facing any last-minute account updates when trying to process your order.

Don’t refresh your screen

Once tickets go on sale, stick to one window when you’re processing your ticket order and always resist the urge to refresh. Hitting the refresh button means you’ll lose your place in the queue and, as frustrating as it can be, patience is the only way to win this game.

Ticketmaster’s sophisticated systems are designed to manage and process ticket purchases as quickly as possible. The queuing system that appears on your screen is doing all the hard work for you and will place you at the front of the line as soon as possible.

Remember: there are a lot of fans

We’re expecting this to be a very popular event. When a popular event goes on sale there are hundreds and sometimes thousands of customers simultaneously attempting to purchase tickets across all distribution channels. Tickets are sold as long as tickets are available, and when an act is as popular as Crowded House, sometimes they go very quickly.

Be sure to follow the above tips to ensure you have the best chance of snapping up some tickets.

Crowded House will take their ‘To The Island’ tour around New Zealand in March 2021. Tickets are onsale via Ticketmaster.co.nz
