WWE Live set to hit Vector Arena!

The Superstars and Divas of WWE Live are set to rock Vector Arena when the high-energy entertainment event hits New Zealand in August.

Some of the biggest names in the sport will be in tow for WWE Live, which hits Auckland on Wednesday August 10. Tickets for the event are on sale from 9am on Monday February 15. Click here for more information and to purchase tickets.

WWE is known for its athleticism and theatrics and has earned a reputation worldwide as a must-see entertainment event. Many of the best known wrestlers will appear for WWE Live at Vector Arena including Superstars Roman Reigns, Sheamus, Kevin Owens and Ryback.

They will be joined by WWE Divas, including current champion Charlotte, and Sasha Banks. WWE Tag Team Champions, New Day, will also be putting on an unforgettable show for the audience.

To celebrate this massive announcement we have put together a quick fire bio for five of the wrestling superstars who are heading to New Zealand.

Roman Reigns

Fun Fact: Roman Reigns was a defensive tackle for NFL teams, Minnesota Vikings and Jacksonville Jaguars, before turning to the WWE.

Charlotte – Divas Champion

From: The Queen City (Charlotte, North Carolina)

Fun Fact: Charlotte is the daughter of wrestling legend and 16-time world champion, Ric Flair.

The New Day – Tag Team Champions

Big E

From: Tampa, Florida

Signature Move: The Big Ending

Fun Fact: Despite only being 5’11’’, Big E weighs 130kg! This man is immensely strong and he can deadlift a Fiat… now that is impressive.

Kofi Kingston

From: Ghana, West Africa

Signature Move: Trouble in Paradise

Fun Fact: Born in Ghana, Kofi Kingston moved to Winchester, Massachusetts when he was three years old.

Xavier Woods

From: Atlanta, Georgia

Signature Move: Honour Role, Lost in the Woods

Fun Fact: Xavier Woods has a Ph.D. in educational psychology.

Sasha Banks

From: Boston, Massachusetts

Signature Move: Bank Statement

Fun Fact: Sasha Banks has a very famous cousin. None other than Snoop Dogg.

Sheamus

From: Dublin, Ireland

Signature Move: Brogue Kick, Cloverleaf, Irish Curse Backbreaker, White Noise

Fun Fact: As a youngster, Sheamus sang in the Palestrina Choir and appeared on the Late Late Show.
