Rhythm and Vines is back for three glorious days of music and memories this December.

While you might still be coming down from your very recent New Year’s festivities (we’re still writing our dates with ’19 at the end), why not make now the perfect time to start planning exactly how you’re going to end the year.

Because, if past years are anything to go by, the only correct answer is Rhythm and Vines festival.

Launching all the way back in 2003 by a trio of uni mates as a way to bring everyone together over New Years, the festival has grown from a crowd of 1800 to 21,000, expanding from lineups of up and coming New Zealand musicians (don’t worry, they haven’t been forgotten) to welcoming the likes of Franz Ferdinand, The Kooks, Juice Wrld, and N.E.R.D to the sunny surrounds of Waiohika Estate in Gisborne.

For their 2019 event, R&V hosted over 100 acts across five stages, including the likes of Disclosure, Alison Wonderland, RL Grimes, Dom Dolla and Drax Project in what we’ve been told was an absolutely ripper weekend.

Behind the Vines - Ten Years of R&V

In its 13 years, punters have watched Rhythm and Vines grow from a modest one stage event to a festival that attracts the world’s biggest artists, and in 2020 they are showing no signs of slowing down.

Keep your eyes locked here to be one of the first to find out who will provide the soundtrack to end your year.

It’s time to get prepared though, because tickets are on sale now.

Rhythm and Vines will take over Waiohika Estate in Gisborne from Tuesday 29 December until Friday 1 January. Tickets are on sale now via our mates at Moshtix.
