Palm Desert rockers, Queens of the Stone Age, have locked in a Spark Arena headliner this August.

Bringing their Villains World Tour to Kiwi fans, the quintet – Joshua Homme (guitar/vocals), Troy Van Leeuwen (guitar), Dean Fertita (guitar/keys), Jon Theodore (drums/percussion) and Michael Shuman (bass) – will return to Auckland later this year.

QOTSA will be joined by Australian blues favourite, C.W. Stoneking, when they headline Spark Arena on Thursday 23 August.

Queens Of The Stone Age - Head Like a Haunted House

Having toured the world relentlessly across the course of six epic albums and multiple Grammy nominations, QOTSA aren’t just a chart-topping band, but a group of astounding live musicians.

If you’ve seen this lot live before, then you’ll know exactly what we’re talking about. If not, then you need to experience this band in all their power on a live stage.

Last year’s Auckland gig sold out in minutes, so you’ll have to be quick to secure yourself a spot at this hotly-anticipated show.
