He’s one of the most critically acclaimed stars in music today, and now Kendrick Lamar has unveiled a short burst of New Zealand arena shows for 2018.

The hip hop legend will bring the DAMN. tour to Dunedin and Auckland this July, having announced a run of headline dates alongside his performance at Splendour in the Grass festival in Byron Bay, Australia.

The twelve-time GRAMMY Award winning artist is on everyone’s minds right now, having dropped his phenomenal album, Black Panther: The Album, this February.

Earlier this month, Kendrick also became the first ever pop artist to take out the prestigious Pulitzer Prize for music.

Long-serving fans can expect Kendrick to pack his July setlist with the favourites from his multi-Platinum selling catalogue, including, of course, the biggest tracks from his fourth studio album, DAMN.

Pitchfork called it, ‘a widescreen masterpiece of rap’, praising the album which featured singles Loyalty (feat. Rihanna), Love (feat. Zacari) and Humble.

Kendrick Lamar has announced New Zealand shows at Forsyth Barr Stadium, Dunedin (Tuesday 17 July) and Spark Arena, Auckland (Thursday 19 July).
