After electrifying 6,500 fans in Auckland, the powerhouse collaboration returns with legendary ex-AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd and former Shihad frontman Jon Toogood once again leading the line-up, including vocalist Jennie Skulander from recent chart-topping band, Devilskin. Joining them in Christchurch will be one of the country’s most successful songwriters and rock frontmen, James Reid of The Feelers – bringing a special homecoming energy to the South Island stage.
Audiences can expect an unrelenting collision of rock, metal, and classical symphony, delivered by a full orchestra, 5-piece band, and an ensemble of iconic guest vocalists.
“The audience was having it all. There were fireballs, drones flying, and it f…ing rocked. It was magic – better than I could ever imagined” says Phil Rudd, ex AC/DC drummer about the debut show.
The Auckland premiere also drew rave reviews from fans:
One of the best live concert experiences I’ve been to in a long while. Epic classics, blistering performances – please do again!
An absolute banger from start to finish. The band and orchestra were on point, and the vocalists phenomenal. Loved every minute.
My husband and I travelled up from Hawke’s Bay, what an awesome night. Great show, great music, great crowd. Hope there are many more of these planned for the future!!!!
Fans can look forward to massive anthems from Metallica, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, AC/DC and more – reimagined with soaring orchestral arrangements, searing guitars, powerhouse vocals, and jaw-dropping visuals.
