Backstreet’s back, alright!
To celebrate the release of her stunning third album ‘Designer’, Lyttelton songwriting icon Aldous Harding will return home for a nationwide tour this August.
Harding’s 2017 record Party saw the New Zealand artist reach global heights, attracting love from critics worldwide and at home, winning the 2018 Taite Music Prize, two NZ music awards, and a Silver Scroll Award nomination. The accompanying album tour sold out months in advance.
Now she is back with the next instalment in her catalogue, an album that has been described as “stunning” and “strangely uplifting” (New Zealand Herald, Time Out) and “fascinating and frightening, highly eccentric and blisteringly beautiful” (Q).
While her album is an entirely enchanting listen, on the live stage is where Harding is free to truly shine. Renowned for her captivating presence on stage, Harding has won fans the world over supporting world-class artists, transfixing festival crowds, and shining in her own right.
Backed by a full band, this homecoming is one not to be missed.
Aldous Harding will bring her new album, Designer, to New Zealand stages this August. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Wednesday 29 May at 1pm (local time). Tickets via Ticketmaster.co.nz.
