This month we chat to multi-platinum selling singer-songwriter Stan Walker to get the inside scoop on his upcoming Springboard tour.
American comedian, author, and activist, Chelsea Handler is set to bring her ‘Life Will Be The Death Of Me’ stand-up comedy tour to New Zealand audiences this October.
The tour takes the same name as her freshly released, #1 NY Times best-selling book – number six in her ever-growing literary catalogue.
Fresh from her 27-date tour in the US, this brand new show features everything we have come to love about Handler. The brash candour and self-deprecating humour that fuelled her previous bestselling essays collections and wildly successful TV shows are here in spades.
After a seven-year run as the host of E!’s top-rated show Chelsea Lately, Handler launched an all-new talk show for Netflix in 2016. Chelsea was the first of its kind and tackled today’s tough issues with the same wit and fearless curiosity fans know and love.
After 120 episodes, Handler wrapped up the show in 2017 to focus on her work as an activist by joining forces with EMILY’s List to help elect more women to public office, register people to vote, and campaign for candidates who are fighting for women’s rights.
She has also partnered with the Karam Foundation, a non-profit organisation who develop innovative education programs for refugee youth in Syria.
Handler’s new feature-length documentary focusing on the notion of white privilege will be released later this year via Netflix.
Chelsea Handler will perform in New Zealand this October. Tickets are available via Ticketmaster.com.au.
