Taking art off the wall and putting it onto the moving body
English comedy legend, Bill Bailey, is returning to New Zealand with his new show, Earl of Whimsy.
Combining comedy and music like only he can, Bill Bailey will bring his trademark mix of satire, surrealism, sing-alongs and storytelling to Auckland and Wellington later this year.
If you missed tickets when they first went on sale, don’t fret, there’s still seats to snap up for Bailey’s gigs at ASB Theatre, Auckland in September and Michael Fowler Centre, Wellington in October.
Having prepared a ‘journey of discovery’ for Kiwi audiences, we’ll find out where Knock Knock jokes came from, how we got days of the week, and why Nicky Minaj rejected a puffin sample for her latest single.
Be sure to bring your liveliest discussions and your best singing voices for this unmissable shows.
The event posters aren’t exaggerating, this really is a music and comedy extravaganza like no other.
Tickets for Bill Bailey’s New Zealand performances (Auckland and Wellington) are on sale now via Ticketmaster.co.nz.
