One of the most popular shows in the annual NZ International Comedy festival is back with a promising line-up of world class comedians each night in a laughter inducing, thigh slapping, 2 hour show.

2014 brings bigger and better things for The Big Show with additional dates and comedians scheduled to perform, kicking off the three-week festival at the Bruce Mason Centre in Takapuna on Fri 25th and Sat 26th April. Sure to provide laughs for all.

The Big Show audiences have been introduced to world class comedians such as PHIL NICHOL, JASON COOK, NEIL DELAMERE and MILTON JONES to name a few.

The 2014 line-up at The Bruce Mason Centre in Takapuna features 7 comedic stars ;

JOHN ROBBINS (England) – A veteran of five Edinburgh Fringe fests. Said to be “One of the most naturally gifted comedians I’ve seen” by the Daily Telegraph UK.

JOHN GORDILLO (England) – “One of comedy’s great thinkers.  Heartfelt, intellectual or angry, he’s dynamite!” -THE TIMES UK

MICHAEL LEGGE (Ireland) – “This is vitriolic observational stand-up at its finest … The language is perfectly judged, with some beautifully splenetic turns of phrase. And the effect of all this impassioned negativity is, ironically, quite joyous” – Chortle.co.uk

SARA PASCOE (England) – “Pascoe’s lively mind teases out big questions with intelligence, silliness and self-deprecation to make a near-perfect show” – The Guardian UK

TIM FITZHIGHAM (England) – “Tim FitzHigham is unhinged…completely without hinges.”- Eddie Izzard

CAREY MARX (England) –  “…sharp, sweet,cheeky, cynical, romantic and rude as he ever was” – Chortle

CARL DONNELLY (England) –  “He’s a remarkable talent – a relaxed, easygoing anecdotalist with an eye for funny details. An hour in his company is a true delight.” – TimeOUT UK
