Australian rockers, Wolfmother, have just announced plans to play Auckland next month during their Gypsy Caravan Tour.

Among the newly-confirmed dates, Wolfmother will play The Powerstation in Auckland on Friday 9 June.

The band’s upcoming tour takes its name from a track on 2016’s Victorious, and was co-written with Spiderbait drummer, Kram.

As well as pulling support duties for Guns ‘N’ Roses earlier this year, the Aussie legends spent the majority of 2016 selling out venues across America, Europe and Scandinavia, but now they’re heading back to be reunited with their loyal Kiwi fans.

Wolfmother will also be joined by as-yet unrevealed special guests for all shows on the June jaunt.

Tickets for Wolfmother at The Powerstation, Auckland go on general sale at midday (NZST) tomorrow (Thursday 4 May).
