The Winery Tour 2017 celebrates 10th year as iconic summer event

The Winery Tour 2017 turns 10 this summer and it’s celebrating with an all-star line-up.

This year’s event will feature two of New Zealand’s most successful artists of all time in Brooke Fraser and Bic Runga, alongside super exciting newcomer, Benny Tipene.

Presenting twelve shows around New Zealand, The Winery Tour 2017 marks the Kiwi summer in the finest way possible.

Great music? Check.

Beautiful outdoor settings? Check.

Los Angeles-based Brooke Fraser returns home to headline the 2017 tour, following the release of her first career retrospective album A Sides.

“The Winery Tour is quite simply a dream to play, there is no better way to tour New Zealand,” says Brooke. “I am looking forward to getting home to play all the favourites from my career so far to the best fans in the world.”

Meanwhile Bic Runga returns to tour the vines after having originally played on the very first Winery Tour back in 2007.

Bic adds “I’m excited to rejoin the Winery Tour family, to hit the road again and to play all my songs and some of my favourite covers in the most spectacular venues”.

Benny Tipene will be on hand to open the show. An exciting new talent, Benny has been quickly making a name for himself in NZ.

Following a string of radio successes, including #1 platinum single, Walking On Water, Benny will hit the Winery Tour having finished work on his second album. Watch this space.
