Want a memento? Grab a collector ticket
A collector ticket is a souvenir, 3D-style ticket which not only gets you into the event, it also serves as a treasured keepsake to be kept well after the festival is over. Collector tickets are only made available for selected events and can be purchased through the normal purchase processes – just be sure to select a “Collector Ticket” specifically when choosing your ticket type. Collector tickets can only be delivered to fans via mail, and cannot be sent as Print-at-Home or E-Tickets, or collected from outlets or the venue. Collector Tickets are not available to those without a valid New Zealand address. You must provide a New Zealand postal address to receive Collector Tickets.

Get to know Platinum Tickets
A ticket only option for in-demand areas and views in the house, available at market-driven prices.
Platinum Tickets are in demand tickets to concerts and other events made available by artists and event organisers through Ticketmaster. They give fans fair and safe access to in-demand seats at market-driven prices (adjusting prices according to supply and demand). Platinum tickets are ticket-only purchases, and prices are subject to change at any time.
There will be ticket limits for each show
We anticipate this tour is going to be extremely popular, so a ticket limit has been put in place per transaction:
There is a maximum of 6 (six) tickets per customer for Presales and 10 (ten) tickets per customer for NAB, American Express, and General Public onsales.
There will be a ticket-delivery delay
For some events, the printing and postage of tickets are delayed, either at the request of the promoters or due to circumstances beyond our control. This means that tickets will not be mailed to you, will not be available for outlet collection, and will not be available for printing or viewing online until a set date. All digital tickets (including Print-At-Home) will be delivered via your Ticketmaster account found at Ticketmaster.com.au.
There is a ticket printing delay in place until Saturday 22 August 2020 @ 10am. Tickets cannot be printed until this time.
Make sure you know all the lyrics to some of Green Day, Fall Out Boy, and Weezer’s greatest hits.
Make sure you have a My Ticketmaster account
Get the basics covered before tickets go on sale by logging in and checking your Ticketmaster account ahead of time. If you don’t have a Ticketmaster Account then make sure you sign up in advance – Ticketmaster.co.nz. In your account, add your favourite acts and events to your ‘Favourites’ and you’ll get alerts and email reminders before every onsale.
Sign in ahead of time
Remember to triple check your passwords, delivery address, and billing information are all filled in correctly in advance, that way you’re not facing any last-minute account updates when trying to process your order.
Get online at home
Or work (we won’t tell). Shared public wifi networks can slow you down when speed is what you need.
Don’t hit the refresh button
Stick to one window when you’re processing your ticket order and please don’t hit the refresh button. If you do that, you’ll likely end up losing your place in the queue, and as frustrating as it can be, patience is key when trying to buy tickets. Ticketmaster’s sophisticated systems are designed to manage and process ticket purchases as quickly as possible. The queuing system that appears on your screen is doing all the hard work for you and will place you at the front of the line as soon as possible.
Please note, if you see a ‘no tickets available’ message when attempting to purchase tickets, this means there are no tickets available within your search restrictions.
Keep an eye on the clock
There will be a time limit applied to all transactions as they’re progressed through the ticket purchasing stages. Remember to keep an eye on the timer on your screen and move through the processing pages as quickly as possible (this is even easier when you’ve completed the account set-up stage we mentioned above).
Keep your options open with ‘Best available’
Save time by searching “Best Available,” which scans all sections fast – it’s quicker than searching sections one at a time.
Keep checking back
Keep checking back several hours after the onsale to see if the event provider has added more shows, as well as a week to a few hours before the show when event providers sometimes release additional seats.
Follow Ticketmaster’s social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for constant updates and even more onsale reminders.
Consider taking a road trip
Head to a nearby city where tickets for a super popular show may be easier to get. On Ticketmaster.com.au click “Change Location” under your city (top, right of the page) and look around for events nearby.
Remember: there are a lot of fans
We’re expecting this to be a very popular event. When a popular event goes on sale there are hundreds and sometimes thousands of customers simultaneously attempting to purchase tickets across all distribution channels. Tickets are sold as long as seats are available, and when an act is as popular as Green Day, Fall Out Boy, and Weezer, sometimes they go very quickly.
Be sure to follow the above tips to ensure you have the best chance of snapping up some tickets.
Green Day, Fall Out Boy, and Weezer will bring the Hella Mega Tour to New Zealand this November. Tickets are onsale via Ticketmaster.co.nz.
