Northland Thrash metal trio Alien Weaponry are set to embark on a huge national tour next March, and we should all prepare for the carnage.
Fans, bloggers, the music industry, and media worldwide have raved about Alien Weaponry’s unique blend of thrash metal and use of their native language, Te Reo Māori. Now the trio will storm into 2019 with their first Australasian tour. They’ll be pummelling local eardrums in venues across Aotearoa with powerful tunes from their chart-topping debut album Tū, which showcased the band’s politically-focussed fusion of thrash and Te Reo Māori, unleashing singles like Kai Tangata and Raupatu.
Since winning Smokefree Rockquest and Smokefree Pacifica Beats in 2016, Alien Weaponry have fast become one of the most talked about emerging metal bands in the world, and now it’s your chance to see why when they take over stages in Tauranga, Hamilton, Auckland, Dunedin, and Christchurch.
My Ticketmaster Presale: Thursday 15 Nov @ 9am (local time) General Public Onsale: Thursday 22 Nov @ 12pm (local time) Alien Weaponry will take over venues around New Zealand throughout March 2019. Tickets are available through our partner website Ticketweb.co.nz.
